Scholarships are available for Year 9 and Year 13 students.

Year 13 Scholarships
There are three Scholarships available for Year 13 Students who are going on to higher education. Further information can be found here at Enrolments/Scholarships.  

The due date for these scholarships is 3.30pm on Friday 13th November 2015, with interviews being held before Senior Prize Giving.  The successful recipients will be announced at Senior Prize Giving.


Summer Uniform

Summer uniform is compulsory for Terms 1 and 4.  For a full list of summer uniform please go to our uniform page.  Only plain navy blue caps and bucket hats may be worn as sunhats.  The school has these available for purchase.  Black Roman sandals are the only acceptable sandals for our summer uniform.  If you have any queries or require clarification please contact the school.


Student Attendance - Our Expectations

At Wanganui City College there is an expectation that students will be at school by 8.30am.  At Wanganui City College full attendance is the norm.  At Wanganui City College all non-attendance is followed up.  Wanganui City College aims to have a 90% attendance for all our students for 2015.

We have a high expectation about uniforms, there is detailed information in our Uniform and our Shoe information sheets.
