Includes care and supervision of the student, both a school and out of school hours.

3. Accommodation NZ $205 per week
Includes a single furnished room for seniors, three meals a day seven days a week, and laundry in the hostel.
In a homestay the fee covers the following:
All the expenses involved in living as a member of a family.
Provision of a single room for the student.
All meals
It does not include the following:
the cost of an additional phone line if the student requires frequent use of the internet (installation approximately NZ $80, monthly rental NZ $50).
School uniform (maximum of $NZ 680)
Bicycle (if needed, approximately $NZ 300)
Personal spending (between $NZ 30 and $NZ 50). If they wish, parents can pay personal spending to the school and we will set up a bank account and automatically pay a set amount into the student's account each week.
4. Insurance
It is a condition of enrolment that students have adequate health insurance. This can be arranged by the College (Travel and Medical NZ $507 for 12 months) or you make private arrangements. We must sight documents proving the student is insured.
All fees must be paid before the student can be accepted at Wanganui City College, and a visa can be obtained.
